Re: PGX v1 Proposal - aka Chunked PGX

One of the reasons it would be a great idea of having the latest kernel always updated on github - I for sure won't to interfere with already work in progress. And I surely need some more time to understand the kernel system in order to include my proposed version - and yes, of course I need to be ...

Re: PGX v1 Proposal - aka Chunked PGX

while browsing the SDOS.asm I've stumbled across these lines ; Formats to be supported: ; PGX -- First four bytes contain the loading address ; FNX -- multi-segmented file format with multiple addresses ; BIN -- Generic binary requiring a destination address looks like FNX will be my proposed chunk...

Re: Is the Kernel for the FMX and the U different? Where to find the current version?

Is there a separate Kernel for the FMX and the U? The Foenix IDE runs on 0.1.0-1011+alpha (2020-12-31) but my newly arrived (hooray! pictures will follow) c256 foenix u+ is equipped with a 0.3.0-alpha+1371 (2021-03-13) kernel. I can't find that kernel on github anywhere in order to update the IDE o...

Definition Files for the Foenix U/U+/FMX - Oct 6th FPGA Release

Hey Guys, Here are the collections of Definition files that are most likely to be in the Kernel Github, but those are slightly more recent till they get updated in the next major release of the Kernel and FPGAs. So, keep in mind that these are still slightly changing. There will be a time where ever...

Re: Introduce Yourself

Hi all! I'm Dan, from Seattle, WA, USA. I just got my Foenix in the mail today and turned it on for the first time just a few minutes ago. :) Thank you Stefany for putting such love into this project. It was obvious from the moment I opened the box. I can't wait to dig in. Cheers! -- Dan Hey Dan, h...

Re: Errata on Rev C4A FMX

Hi Stefany, my FMX C4A arrived March 25th here in the US. Your signed letter is dated February 26th. I looked at the MIDI connectors and of course don't see any wires on the pins unless it's on the bottom side of the PCB. I still haven't tried to open the case yet. Thanks for your time! Sm3, the la...

Re: Errata on Rev C4A FMX

I had a few questions on the errata for my Rev C4A FMX. Errata 1---MIDI IN Port Pin Inversion (25/03/2020) Must I make any of these changes if I'm sure I don't plug anything into the MIDI connection? I'm not exactly a hardware wiz and soldering wires onto the PCB is not my strong suit. Errata 3---F...
