While I am a child of the 8-bit era, and a fan of the Commodore64, my heart is in the 16-bit era. To me, those were the pinnacle of gaming both in the arcade and on home systems. I was excited about the CX16 being a 16-bit system, but because David really prefers the 8-bit stuff (naturally, given the name of his channel), it's become apparent to me that the CX16 is going to stay very close to 8-bit specs as far as graphics and sound are concerned. That's fine, and it's his dream computer, not mine, I've come to realize that the C256 Foenix is much more my dream computer than the CX16 is shaping up to be.
So I decided to come jump into the community over here and follow along with the progress of the Foenix. I hope that the project is a success and that a vibrant community gets established around the machine so that we can have lots of fun stuff to do with this computer.
This forum seems kind of quiet right now, so hopefully some discussion gets started to liven things up a bit.
