Is there a difference between the Rev C board and the C256 FMX? In other words if I get the Rev C board now will I be missing out on the features of the C256 FMX? :?

Mac,

This is something I will have to explain in a future video... But to answer your question, right now, everybody who gets a Pre-Sale Rev C in the store whatever their choice will get the FMX.

When the Rev C will be out of pre-sale then they will be split in 2.

Hope it answers the questions!

Cheers!
S

PS: Okay, keep in mind that it is still and will be still a platform in development when Rev C will be shipping. However, everything will be included to be able to update the units as new improvement are made available.

What is the feeling about regular dumb end users ordering hardware right now?

I figured I should hold off to make sure all the smart people get them first to make things I can play with, lol. At the same time I want to support everyone.

Go team? :D

Hey Mikerm,

At this point, trust me the bulk of smart people have put their hands on it already. You should see them, they already created an emulator and make small ball bouncing demo like the Amiga on it.

So, I can only imagine when they will get real hardware.

Now... There are enough tools and the documentation will get better over time that anybody who has interests in programing anything on the platform should be okay about getting a platform now. Well, obviously, if you are more an end-user that wants to play with it as opposed to program with it then I would suggest waiting till there is more content available.

I hope this helps your choice making!

Cheers!
