C256 Foenix RevCX - Early Adopters' Release - bring up

Post by stef » Fri Sep 27, 2019 6:27 pm

Here it is, this is a new beginning. The Rev CX version. At this point, a lot of problem have been ironed out from RevC0/RevC1 but since we have yet migrated to another package it is still possible that we might encounter problems. However, the difference in this case is the worst can happen will be to add bodge wires or cut traces. All Soldering problems that just aggravated the whole process in the previous version aren't there anymore.

Within a couple of days, I will be a better position if this version will be "the" version and if it will move on to the fabrication step in order to fulfill the early adopters orders.

So, stay tuned, more info will be posted here as the debugging will move forward and a full Update ought to be posted early next week.

This board is so beautiful, it looks like something that Commodore at the height of its reign would have produced.
Stefany you can really see the Love in your Labor.
